Welcome to the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy Academic Program Faculty Area!
The Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) develops the physical therapist and physical therapist assistant National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
The purpose of this area is to provide relevant information on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) for faculty of physical therapy education programs.
The mission of the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy is to protect the public by providing service and leadership that promote safe and competent physical therapy practice.
As part of that service to the academic community, the FSBPT believes that information related to NPTE pass rates, test construction and issues related to exam security may be useful to academic faculty as they prepare students to take the NPTE.
Most of the information in this area is available to any faculty member without requiring a password. However, the School Reports section is password protected so that access is limited to the program’s director/administrator. This is because it provides pass rates for each school.
Program administrators may subscribe to a variety of pass rate reports related to the performance of their program’s students on the NPTE, including verification of program graduates, individual and aggregate school reports and aggregate performance reports of their graduates on the NPTE according to content areas.
We hope this information will not only help programs as they prepare their students for the NPTE, but that it will also provide valuable information to the academic program regarding content area preparation of their graduates.
