February 2025 Workshop for Educators

Registration is open! Join us in Houston, Texas, in 2025! The workshop will take place February 11–12, 2025, immediately preceding the APTA-CSM meeting. The workshop will include presentations from FSBPT staff and trainers on item writing, test construction, preparing students for the NPTE, registering for and taking the NPTE, and other relevant topics. What Students Need to Know: Access the Practice Exam & Assessment Tool (PEAT)

Encourage your students to watch our latest video, The NPTE in Sixty Seconds - PEAT. PEAT mimics the NPTE content and timing and also identifies areas of strength and weakness for the exam taker. PEAT pulls questions from the NPTE item bank and previously administered exams. PEAT is available for a full 90 days and can be accessed directly from your FSBPT account. Learn more about PEAT! Your students can also learn more about many aspects of preparing for the exam by watching the entire The NPTE in Sixty Seconds series.

Get Involved: Learn, Grow, Write—Be an NPTE Item Writer!

Item writing for the NPTE is a great way to gain expertise in crafting multiple-choice questions, share your knowledge of the profession, work with and learn from colleagues, and have fun!

• August 15–17, 2025, Alexandria, Virginia (Participate in person or virtually)

Regional

• May 3–4, 2025, South University, Austin, Texas
• June 6–7, 2025, University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona
