What’s the registration process?
Registration is limited to funded attendees. Funded attendees are automatically registered by FSBPT once they are selected.
Administrators, please select your funded members by May 1. We will send you instructions on how to do this in early 2025. Please reach out to communications@fsbpt.org if you have questions.
Where is the meeting?
The meeting will be held at the Ritz Carlton – Pentagon City in Arlington, Virginia.
Am I a “funded attendee”?
You are a funded attendee if you are one or more of the below:
- Current Voting Delegate or Funded Administrator
- Current Committee/Task Force Chair
- Current Candidate for Election
- FSBPT Nominating Committee member
- FSBPT Resolutions Committee member
- Current Finance Committee member
How do I know if I am a voting delegate this year?
Please contact your board administrator. To serve as a voting delegate, your board would have selected you.
Can someone attend in my place if I cannot attend LIF as the voting delegate?
We encourage your jurisdiction to select individuals who can attend both the Leadership Issues Forum and the Annual Education Meeting. The meeting content at LIF supports their attendance at the Annual Education Meeting. If you cannot attend the Leadership Issues Forum, your Funded Alternate Delegate can attend in your place. Please email us at communications@fsbpt.org before May 1 to make this change.
Will I receive a travel authorization?
Funded attendees will receive a travel authorization via email with information to book travel to the meeting. You can expect to see your travel authorization in early to mid-May. If you have not seen it in your inbox, please check your spam folder before contacting us. If you don’t see it in your spam folder, please email us at meetingplanner@fsbpt.org.
How do I know my hotel reservation has been made by FSBPT?
After you book your travel with the travel agency, the travel agency will notify FSBPT staff. FSBPT staff will make your hotel reservations based on your travel itinerary. You will receive a confirmation from the hotel a few days before the event.
Can I arrive earlier and/or later than listed on my travel authorization for personal reasons?
Yes, but please reach out to meetingplanner@fsbpt.org. You will be required to pay the costs associated with the hotel and meals for the extra days.
What can I expect at hotel check-in?
You will be asked to provide a personal credit card (not a debit card) and government-issued photo ID when you check in. You will not have a deposit charged to your personal credit card, but it will be used to cover possible incidentals. FSBPT will cover your room charge and taxes. You are responsible for additional charges or additional nights’ stay beyond the Leadership Issues Forum meeting dates.
When will I receive my expense report form?
We will email you a copy, but you can also find a copy of the expense form in the Members Area of the FSBPT Portal under “Meetings." Please submit your expense form by August 4.
