Funded Attendees: You will receive a unique link to register via email for emails from communications@fsbpt.org. You will need to log in to the FSBPT Portal to register.
FSBPT Members: You will need your username (your primary email address) and password to the FSBPT Portal. If you forget your password, use the “forgot my password” link to receive information via email.
Other Registrants: You may need to create an account in the FSBPT Portal if you do not already have one.
Non-funded Attendees: Please have a credit card available (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) to pay for your registration online.

Am I a “funded attendee”?

You are a funded attendee if you are one or more of the below:

  • Current Voting Delegate, Alternate Delegate, or Funded Administrator
  • Current Award Recipient
  • Current Committee/Task Force Chair
  • Current Education or Nominating Committee Member
  • Current Candidate for Election
  • Current Annual Education Meeting Speaker
  • FSBPT’s Immediate Past President
  • FSBPT’s Honorary Members

How do I know if I am a voting delegate or funded alternate delegate this year?

Please contact your board administrator. Your board would have selected you to serve in one of these roles this year.

What is the difference between being “funded” and having my registration fee waived?

Funded attendees have their registration fee waived and travel expenses covered by FSBPT to attend the Annual Education Meeting. If your registration fee is waived, but you are not funded, you are responsible for all travel expenses to attend the meeting.

What are the expectations of funded attendees?

As a funded attendee, you should plan to attend sessions related to your role.

Is my registration fee waived?

Your registration fee is waived if you are one or more of the below:

  • APTA Board member
  • APTA Staff member
  • FCCPT Board member
  • FCCPT Staff member
  • ACAPT Representative
  • CAPTE Representative
  • Richard McDougall Long Term Service Award Recipients

My registration fee is not waived, but am I eligible to attend at the member rate?

The registration fee is $595 for non-members and $495 for members. You are eligible to attend at the member rate if you are one or more of the below:

  • FSBPT member (current member or staff of a state PT licensing board)
  • FSBPT affiliate member
  • FSBPT associate member
  • Canadian Alliance staff
  • Canadian Alliance member
  • A staff or member of a regulatory body in another country

Can I register for just one day?

Yes, the one-day registration fee is $260 for members and $310 for non-members. Please note, funded attendees are expected to attend the entire meeting.

Is there a student discount?

Student registrants must be unlicensed and currently enrolled in an entry-level PT or PTA program. If you are interested in receiving the student discount, please contact communications@fsbpt.org.

My jurisdiction cannot be funded by FSBPT to attend the Annual Education Meeting. How does my jurisdiction pay for my registration fee?

Email communications@fsbpt.org before you register. We will set it up so that even funded individuals on your board will need to pay the member price.

What forms of payment are accepted for registration fees?

You can pay via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) at the end of your registration process. (Please note, our registration system does not accept American Express.)

When will I get access to the event materials?

Some of the materials will be available on the event website. You will also get access to the event app a week before the event.

I have registered, but I want to change my educational sessions. How do I adjust my registration?

  • Log into the FSBPT Portal
  • Select “events”
  • Select the “Annual Education Meeting”
  • Select “Manage Registration” in the top right
  • To the right of your name, select the three dots
  • Select “purchase new sessions” (you will not actually need to “purchase” anything)
  • You will see your agenda and can adjust sessions accordingly

Will I receive a travel authorization?

If you are a “funded attendee”, you will receive a travel authorization via email with information to book your travel to the meeting. Funded attendees are required to use FSBPT’s travel agency to book flights. Email meetingplanner@fsbpt.org if there is a reason that you cannot use the travel agency. Failure to receive pre-approval to book your own flights could lead to FSBPT not reimbursing you for your airfare.

Other attendees are responsible for their own travel. You can expect to see your travel authorization via email in August. If you have not seen it in your inbox by August 30, please check your spam folder before contacting us. If you don’t see it in your spam folder, please email us at meetingplanner@fsbpt.org.

More information for Funded Attendees

Please note, funded attendees are expected to attend the entire meeting, and you should plan to attend sessions related to your role.

How do I know my hotel reservation has been made by FSBPT?

After you book your travel with the travel agency, the travel agency will notify FSBPT staff. FSBPT staff will make your hotel reservations based on your travel itinerary. You will receive a confirmation email from the hotel a few days before the event.

Can I arrive earlier and/or later than what is listed on my travel authorization for personal reasons?

Yes, but please reach out to meetingplanner@fsbpt.org.  You will be required to pay the costs associated with the hotel and meals for the extra days.

What can I expect at hotel check-in?

You will be asked to provide a personal credit card (not a debit card) and a government-issued photo ID when you check-in. You will not have a deposit charged to your personal credit card, but it will be used to cover possible incidentals. FSBPT will cover your room charge and taxes. You are responsible for additional charges or additional nights’ stay beyond the Annual Education Meeting dates. If you have questions about check-in times or procedures, please contact the hotel.

When will I receive my expense report form?

We will email you a copy, but you can also find a copy of the expense form in the Members Area of the FSBPT Portal under “Meetings." Please submit your expense form by November 10.
