FSBPT announces the availability of multi-state certification of physical therapy continuing competence activities through ProCert!

Overview 
As a key component of the Continuing Competence Initiative established by its membership in 2007, the FSBPT has launched ProCert, the continuing competence activity certification program. ProCert is a service within aPTitude, the online continuing competence management program. ProCert evaluates activities against the Standards for Continuing Competence Activities for purposes of awarding certification. Providers of physical therapy continuing competence activities may submit information on their activities to ProCert through aPTitude to request certification. 

Eligible Activities and Term
Initially, continuing education courses and conferences are eligible for ProCert certification. The certification term is a one-year period as defined by the activity provider. 

Acceptance
ProCert certification is currently recognized or accepted by the following jurisdictions: 

• Arizona
• Delaware
• District of Columbia
• Kentucky
• North Carolina
• Oregon
• South Carolina
• Tennessee
• Utah
• Wisconsin

Many other jurisdictions are in the process of updating their rules or regulations, or adopting policy statements, to reflect the acceptance or recognition of FSBPT certification with their next licensure cycles. These jurisdictions will be updated within aPTitude and announced once confirmed.

Pricing
The following options are available:

• Single Activity: $60 for submission of a single activity
• Subscription I: $495 for submission of 1-20 activities in a one-year period
• Subscription II: $995 for submission of 21 or more activities in a one-year period

• Degree coursework
• Examinations and Assessments
• Residencies and Fellowships
