Easy Online Registration for the NPTE® and Jurisprudence Tools

If you need to register for the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE), you may use the Customer Dashboard. You may also register for any of the jurisprudence tools listed below through this convenient online system.

Please note that a 1.6% processing fee, rounded up to the nearest dollar, will apply.

Fees are for the examination only. Your state will charge additional fees for the licensure application. There will also be additional fees payable to Prometric.

Pre-Registration Checklist

  1. Have you received and reviewed a licensure application from the licensing authority for the state in which you want to be licensed?
  2. Have you reviewed the key dates and deadlines?
  3. Have you confirmed that you meet your state's requirements to sit for an examination?
  4. Have you notified your state if you require accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act?
 

Next Steps

Once you have completed registering for an examination you will receive an Authorization to Test letter (ATT) from FSBPT via email. The ATT letter is sent when the licensing authority to which you are applying, or their authorized designee, makes you eligible to sit for the exam. Your ATT letter will also be available online on your Customer Dashboard. Your ATT letter will direct you to contact Prometric to schedule a time to sit for the exam.

Please note: FSBPT will not send an ATT letter until you have been approved by your jurisdiction and your registration is paid in full.
